The Wannas
In October of 1964, the teenage Mankato garage rock band, The Gestures, released their hit song “Run Run Run”. Sixty years later, The Wannas started playing music together in a garage in lower North Mankato. At times, they sound like a teenage rock band, but more often a band channeling a midlife crisis into songs that are always loud and usually fast.
